Homemade mac attack

Ingredients

  • 1 stick of butter
  • 1.5 lbs of pasta
  • 3 blocks of cheese
  • 8 tbsp of flour
  • Milk (maybe like 3 cups 🤷🏼‍♀️)
  • Pepper (to taste)
  • Seasoning salt (to taste)

Instructions

  1. Make a roux with the melted butter and flour.
  2. Add in the milk slowly to make a béchamel sauce. This is where I just add to what I feel is right with the milk.
  3. Seasoning the sauce
  4. Fold in the cheese…David fold it
  5. Cook your pasta to al dente.
  6. Fold in the pasta to the cheese sauce.
  7. Sprinkle cheese on top. You can also add some buttered breadcrumbs. I just didn’t today.
  8. Warm in the oven for 20 minutes or so at 350 until cheese is melted. You can wait to do this step if preparing for a gathering later like I am, and warm it right before the festivities.
