Air Fried Chicken Caesar Salad Sandwhich

Didn’t have any ideas for dinner so made a simple chicken caesar sando!

Air Fried Chicken Caesar Salad Sandwhich

Ingredients

  • 2 chicken breasts
  • 2 ciabatta buns
  • 2 eggs
  • all purpose flour
  • Bag of Caesar Salad mix
  • Bread crumbs
  • Cherry tomatos
  • Salt, Pepper, garlic powder, basil, oregano, paprika, MSG

Instructions

  1. Butterfly slice your chicken breasts so it can be spread out. Optionally pound it flat with a pan.
  2. On 1 plate mix 1/4 cup flour, 2 tsp salt, freshly cracked pepper, 2 tsp garlic, onion, and paprika. 1 tbsp Italian spices. Whisk together.
  3. On a 2nd plate whisk 2 eggs together and add a little salt and pepper.
  4. On the 3rd plate add 1/2 cup of bread crumbs and the same ratio of spices as the flour plate.
  5. Using the wet hand dry hand method, gently dunk each breast into flour covering and shaking off excess. then dunking and covering in egg mixture shaking off extra. and lastly dunk in bread crumb mixture until fully covered.
  6. In a preheated air fryer, cook chicken coated breast at 400 on the air fry setting for 10 minutes. After completion, flip and turn to broil for 3-6 minutes.
  7. While chicken cooks, slice ciabatta bun in half. Cut handful of cherry tomatos into quarters and toss with 1 tsp or salt. Mix together caesar salad mix.
  8. spread butter, mayo, or aioli onto buns optionally. and optionally toast in oven or pan.
  9. Time to assemble: Place fried chicken breast onto bun, add some tomatos on top, add salad mixture ontop until it cant hold anymore and crown it with a nice bun.
